Support for seven Carpathian countries through National Focal Points

CERI supports networking and communication activities in seven Carpathian countries with the aim to activate members, ensure information flow, experience share and capacity building activities in all the countries and provide space for identification and working on the national priorities. Support provided directly to the national level helps to build on CERI international contacts and initiatives and go more in detail in concrete activities and discussions with CERI partners at the national level. In 2007 the national activities, among others, include the following:
Coordination of national network, organisation of meetings of national CERI members
Communication with CERI Secretariat and members
Representation of CERI at the national level
Contribution to CERI Newsletter and its translation into national language
Contribution to CERI Development Strategy
Contribution to CERI Communication Strategy
Identification of threats and obstacles to sustainable development in the Carpathians
Supporting national projects contributing to sustainable development of the Carpathians
Organisation of meeting with the national CBD and CC focal point
