Newsletter

The CERI Newsletter turned to be a well structured source of information on Carpathian news not only for international audience, but, due to its translation into 7 Carpathian languages also for local inhabitants, stakeholders and organisations in the Carpathian region. 1st and 2nd issue was published in 2006 in 8 languages. CERI members and partners welcome this source of useful information about international initiatives and projects also as the possibility for them to promote their activities and local projects internationally. CERI Newsletter became an important communication tool in the region and it is still open for suggestions for improvements. 2 issues are planned to be designed and printed in 2007.

The newsletter includes:

ongoing international projects in Carpathian region
local and regional initiatives led by CERI members - successes and lessons learned
hot European environmental and development issues
case studies and photos from the field,
information for donors and external stakeholders on current priority projects,
articles of interest to a wider audience dealing with collaboration and exchange of experience with other mountain regions
contacts on CERI Secretariat and National Focal Points
and a calendar of events and activities for CERI members and partners.
