Assessment of availability and reliability of data...

All biological data from the Carpathian part of each country should be filled in spreadsheets (download it here) according to the name of spreadsheets and following legends:
Legend for spreadsheets 1-5: "1_Vegetation","2_Plants","3_Animals","4_water","5_abiota"
  • Relevance - importace of the work for the project scope (1 very good, 2 satisfactory, 3 insufficient).
  • Authors - the name/s of the author/s of the bibliographic entry.
  • Year - the year of publication/release.
  • Title of publication - full title.
  • Published by - the name of the publisher.
  • Institution/Library - the name of the organization or library keeping the source.
  • Page no. - number of pages.
  • Language - language in which the publication is written.
  • Summary in English - information whether English summary of the contents is available in the publication.
  • Area of interest - geographical area covered in the work.
  • Resource - name of the person who put the work at the disposal.
  • Comment - importance and quality of information, more detailed features or scope of the work.

  • Relevance - importace of information source for project area (1 very good, 2 satisfactory, 3 insufficient)
  • Species/Habitat group covered - specify, which group/s (habitats, plants, animals) is/are included in the database
  • Authors - the name/s of the author/s of the map/s or information source.
  • Year - the year of publications of the map or creation of the GIS application/database.
  • Title - exhaustive title the database/GIS application/GIS layer/map.
  • Published by - the name of the publisher or application developer.
  • Institution - the name of the organization keeping the database and/or GIS where the information source is available.
  • Program - the program in which the application was created (e.g. ArcGIS, MS Access, MySQL etc.).
  • Scale - scale of the printed map or used for georeferencing (digitalization) of the layers.
  • Layers/records - number of layers in GIS application or records in the database.
  • Area of interest - geographical area covered by the map/database.
  • Resource - name of the person who put the map/database at the disposal.
  • Comment - comment on the importance and the quality of information.

  • Relevance - importace of information source for project area (1 very good, 2 satisfactory, 3 insufficient)
  • Species/Habitat group covered - specify, which group/s (habitats, plants, animals) is/are included in the database
  • Number of species covered - number of the species that are covered by the database
  • Number of entries - total number of the entries, that the database comprises
  • Localisation - specify the type of localisation (coordinates, code for European grid mapping, other)
  • GIS location - available/not available
  • Coordinates - available/not available
  • Coordinates for polygons - available/not available
  • Institution - the name of the organization keeping the source.
  • Date - time span in which the data were collected
  • Accessibility - specify, whether the database is free and generally accessible, or private; if private, specify the conditions of use
  • Contact body - name of the person/institution who is in charge of communication and contact
